Watch students from Ananda Marga High School demonstrate the beautiful prabhat sangeet dance!
Students and Didis from our school climbed the beautiful Kapil Hill - which is four-times higher than Belamu! The views from the top were great and everyone had a lovely day out.
In December 2018, a mud-house contest was held in Damrughutu Village near our high school. Every year, the women beautify their mud houses. This contest encourages them in their folk art. The winners got cooking pots as prizes.
Last school year, 15 students took the state-level exams; all students passed with good results. Among them, six studied science and nine arts. In 2018, five graduate students progressed to higher education at a nursing school in Bangalore, and the rest went on to study in other colleges.
Events
At present, we are supporting the construction of a model Primary School next to our premises. This school will be from Kindergarten to Class 4, after which the students will come to study at our High School.
This project is in need of funds for its development. Volunteers are welcome to help with fundraising and with hands-on work on-site.
